Heather's author visits are designed for individual classroom-type settings, rather than time-consuming assemblies that distract from essential instruction time.  This ensures that each child feels seen and heard, while enjoying specialized "Two Shoes" related activities.

Typical visits run ~30 minutes and include interactive activities, an entertaining class reading of "Two Shoes", and a thoughtful discussion about themes of sharing, friendship, and compassion.  "Two Shoes" is recommended for readers 4-10 years old.   

Each school, class, organization, or childcare is different.  While the Storytime Package outlined below is standard, Heather is happy to design the program and pricing that works best for your organization.  There is no session too large or small, every child deserves to hear quality storytelling and enjoy a truly memorable "Meet the Author" event.  Email heather@heatherdukestories.com to discuss what you're looking for.  To ensure the availability of time and materials, all visits require a minimum advance notice of three (3) weeks.
